In The Begining

          The Native American population of the United States has been oppressed since the arrival of the "white man" in our country.  Native Americans have been driven off their lands and relocated to desolate areas of our country, called  reservations.  In addition, their culture, religious ceremonies and spiritual beliefs have been stripped from them in the past and the defying of the Native American people continues to this day.
